Adventure Programme
Our Adventure Programme gives students a chance to experience exciting and rewarding activities as a vehicle to develop personal, social and work-related skills:
- Students will learn about themselves and develop an understanding their own ability to tackle challenges
- Students will learn and demonstrate the skills and techniques needed to motivate themselves
- Students will reflect on and gain an understanding of their own ability to develop and grow through adventure.
Who is it for?
Aimed at KS3 and KS4 students who would benefit from the focus on completing challenges and skills development targeted at their ability level. Learners are expected to be working at Entry Level 3 to Level 1.
Course content
The programme is based around 4 key modules:
- Off on a trip – planning and going
- Aspects of trips and visits
- Museums, galleries and heritage
- Evaluation
Commitment
Typically this course is delivered 1 day a week for 10 weeks
Certification
Students who complete the course and the work will achieve the ASDAN Adventure and Residential Short Course certificate
Next Steps
Students who complete this programme and want to further develop their learning and skills with E3Education would move onto either our Environmental or Volunteering programmes
