I Can Lead
Our I Can Lead award gives students a chance to experience exciting and rewarding activities as a vehicle to develop personal, social and work-related skills:
- Students will learn about themselves and develop an understanding their own ability to tackle challenges
- Students will learn and demonstrate the skills and techniques needed to motivate themselves
- Students will reflect on and gain an understanding of their own ability to develop and grow through adventure.
Who is it for?
The I Can Lead Award use sport and physical activity to help learners develop essential leadership skills. This fun and flexible award focuses on personal development, encouraging learners to become more community-minded through volunteering opportunities and building skills such as organisation and communication.
Course content
Through this fun and flexible programme, learners will build their confidence and resilience, and develop their leadership skills.
Commitment
Typically this course is delivered over 12 - 15 hours of Guided Learning Time
Certification
Students who complete the course and the work will achieve the LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOUNDATION I Can Lead Award
